Basingstoke Veterans Hub is an independent, voluntary local organisation, run by veterans for veterans. It is open to anyone who has served or is serving in the armed forces, and it works in partnership with local and national organisations.
The Hub aims to help improve the quality of life of the veterans who contact it, through practical advice, information and support on the issues affecting them, and through regular chances to meet other people who understand service life.
The Hub runs an Armed Forces Family Drop In at Brookvale Village Hall in Basingstoke. It is free, there is no need to book, and veterans of all ages and armed forces families are welcome. The drop in brings together jobs with armed forces employers, training opportunities, general welfare advice, visiting employers and visiting military organisations, with a monthly visit from the DWP Armed Forces Champion.
Basingstoke Voluntary Action supported the setting up of the Hub.
