“Take away your opinion, and there is taken away the complaint.”

Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
Feeling stuck?

Feeling stuck? You are not behind.

You have a job, or you had one. And still something does not sit right. That is not weakness and it is not failure. When a role carried your identity, losing the role unsettles the person.

Start with one small step

The Five-Day Reset is five short days that put a little structure back into the week. It is free to begin.

What's taking up the most space in your head today?

Take a moment to name one thing that feels difficult right now. You can keep your answer to yourself, use an imaginary example, or simply think about it.

For example: ‘I have too many things to think about.’ You don't have to solve it yet.

Your first step is noticing what's happening, without judging yourself for it.

Why AURIS exists

"AURIS grew out of conversations that kept repeating themselves, people who had served, who looked fine, and who quietly were not."

The pattern was familiar: a strong sense of identity built around a role, and very little language for the moment that role ended or changed. People were not unwell. They were unanchored.

Common questions

Who am I without my job title?
That question usually means your identity has been carried by a role rather than by you. Understanding how identity works makes the answer something you can build rather than something you wait for.
Is this therapy or counselling?
No. This is education and coaching, not therapy. It teaches a way to understand identity and stability. It does not replace medical or mental health care. If you need urgent help, contact your GP or Samaritans on 116 123.
I have not left yet. Is it too early?
No. Starting before the change is usually easier than starting afterwards, because you can prepare rather than recover.
