Now put it into practice
Choose an ordinary or fictional moment. Write one thing you directly observed, one interpretation you added and one thing you still do not know. Choose one manageable next action, such as waiting or checking in politely. A missed check-in is missing information, not failure.
For example: a message has not been answered; I guessed they were annoyed; I do not know why. Personal reflection is optional; you may use the example, adapt it or explain why it does not fit.
Your answers stay on this screen. Nothing is saved or sent.

AURIS Is Evolving: Building What Comes NextResearch noteAugust 2026
The Ten-Year Gap
Evidence first. Interpretation second. Recommendations third.
AURIS exists to study identity adaptation properly and to say plainly what the evidence does and does not yet show.
The target for Identity After the Uniform, an ongoing qualitative study. This is the planned sample, not a completed interview count.
Owner-reported as of 11 October 2026, pending verification against the interview register. Current progress is published with its basis and date.
Identity psychology, behavioural science, implementation science, published literature and lived experience.
Developed and tested with charities, community organisations and delivery partners, not only on paper.
Where evidence is strong we say so. Where it is still emerging we say that too. AURIS does not present emerging research as established fact. The pattern from identity to community, purpose and stability appears in the 44 interviews reported coded so far, towards a planned sample of 108. The coded count is owner-reported as of 11 October 2026 and awaits register verification. It is an emerging pattern, not a proven result, and we present it as one.
Read the researchResearch turned into practical learning and support.
AURIS studies what happens to identity when life or a defining role changes, then turns that evidence into practical learning and support for individuals, communities and organisations.
You don't have to have everything figured out.
You just need somewhere to start.
