What has changed for you?
Most people do not arrive looking for a course. They arrive because something has changed: a career, a role, a service career ending, or a household adapting around someone else's.
The role may change. The person underneath is still there. Every AURIS course starts from that, and the first course on each pathway is free.

When life changes, identity changes too.
Discover why identity matters, how it shapes the way we think, feel and behave, and why rebuilding begins long before confidence returns. By the end you will be able to name what has changed in how you see yourself, and describe it in your own words.
You will be asked to log in or create a free account before enrolling.
FoundationFreeCertificate on completionUnderstanding Identity
You’re more than the role you’ve played.
Explore how identity develops throughout life, why major change can leave us feeling lost, and how understanding yourself creates a stronger foundation for the future. By the end you will be able to explain how your identity was built and which parts of it are still yours to keep.
You will be asked to log in or create a free account before enrolling.
FoundationFreeCertificate on completionFive-Day Reset
Five small days. One lasting shift.
When life feels overwhelming, don’t try to fix everything at once. Begin with one small step each day and start rebuilding momentum. By the end you will be able to hold one small daily practice that steadies you when everything feels like too much.
You will be asked to log in or create a free account before enrolling.
FoundationFreeCertificate on completionUnderstanding Change
Change isn’t the problem.
Learn why our minds resist uncertainty and discover practical ways to move through change with greater confidence and clarity. By the end you will be able to recognise why change unsettles you and choose a steadier response to it.
You will be asked to log in or create a free account before enrolling.

Controlling the Controllables
A tool most people in high pressure service roles already use without ever learning its name. This course names it properly and gives you a structure to use it deliberately.
You will be asked to log in or create a free account before enrolling.
How AURIS works
Start with what changed
Not with a job title or a career plan. The courses begin with the change itself, because that is what moved first.
Understand what it did
A role you held for years becomes part of how you understand yourself, so losing it is rarely only a practical problem.
Steady it, then rebuild
Regulation comes before direction. Reactions running the day make purpose very hard to find.
Make it hold
Stability is built through ordinary habits and structure, so a bad week does not undo the work.
Those four steps are the five AURIS pillars in plain English: Awareness, Understanding, Regulation, Identity and Stability.
Read about the AURIS Identity SystemCommon questions
- Are the free courses really free?
- Yes. Every course marked free is free to enrol on and stays free, and each one still carries a Certificate of Completion. There is no trial, no card and no upgrade needed to finish it.
- Which pathway should I choose?
- Choose by what has changed, not by what you want to become. If it is your work or your role, start with Life and Role Change. If you are leaving or have left a long structured career, start with After Service. If the work has ended and the purpose it carried has gone with it, start with Purpose and What Next. If the change came through someone else's role, start with Family and Belonging.
- What if my situation is not one of the five pathways?
- Then take the courses in whichever order suits you. A pathway is a suggested order rather than a requirement, every course has its own page, and the free courses are a sensible place to begin.
- How much do the paid courses cost?
- Each specialist short course is £10 on its own. The four paid courses in a pathway are £20 together, and the free course on that pathway stays free.
- Do I need an account?
- Yes, a free account, so your progress and your certificates are yours and stay where you left them. Nothing expires.
- Are the courses self-paced?
- Almost all of them are: once you enrol, every lesson is open and there is no deadline. Five-Day Reset is the exception on purpose, because each lesson opens twenty four hours after you complete the one before it.
- Is this therapy or counselling?
- No. AURIS courses are education. They are not therapy, clinical treatment or a substitute for medical or mental health care, and they make no promise about employment or recovery.
- What is the difference between a course and the Practitioner Certification?
- A course gives you a Certificate of Completion for your own learning. The AURIS Practitioner Certification is separate, professional, and assessed, and it is for people who want to work with others using the framework.
Academy courses and AURIS Membership
AURIS Academy and the AURIS Membership are two different things. The Academy is structured learning: lessons, workbooks and a Certificate of Completion for each course, bought once and yours to keep. The AURIS Membership is ongoing guided reflection, private journalling and community for £9.99 a month. You can use either on its own, and neither one includes the other.
About AURIS MembershipYour next chapter starts with understanding yourself.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.
Choose one course. Take one step. See where it leads.
Because rebuilding your life doesn’t start with becoming someone new. It starts with remembering who you already are.
