Free resources for identity loss and life after military service.
Practical guides, checklists and templates you can work through for yourself. Written by AURIS for veterans, service leavers and anyone whose trained role has ended or changed, so identity loss feels less confusing and life after military service has some structure. Read them here, print them, or save them as a PDF. There is nothing to pay and no account to create.
What these are, and what they are not
Each item comes from the AURIS framework and from our published research. Every one links to the white paper behind it so you can check what it is based on. They are education and structured self reflection, not therapy, medical treatment or crisis support. If you are in crisis, contact your GP, NHS 111, or the emergency services.
Thinking about work next?
Our careers guidance for service leavers covers the kinds of work people move into, a way of working through an application, and a form you can use to ask about your own situation.
